As Shakespeare once said, All the world's a stage, and we are merely players, a sentiment that perfectly encapsulates the essence of this artistic film—an ode to the craft of acting and the depth of human expression. Filmed at Courtyard Playhouse, a space that exudes artistic energy and nurtures exceptional talent, this project reflects the essence of its vibrant community. From the moment Mariam Alserkal stepped into Courtyard Playhouse, she was captivated by its spirit, inspiring her to craft a piece that honors the incredible work they do in developing and supporting performers. Through a cinematic lens, Triplets on Set brought this vision to life, ensuring that every frame embodies the passion and artistry of improvisation.

Riding the Peaks

In the second episode of Fel Haraka Baraka, we explore the scenic beauty of Mushrif Park in Dubai, where we follow passionate cyclist Omar Alsaadi on the park’s rugged mountain biking trails. The day began at 6am, with a serene, misty morning setting the perfect stage for the adventure ahead. Omar’s excitement was palpable he couldn’t wait to lead us through the terrain he knows so well. Filming continued until 9am, as we worked to capture the essence of Omar's journey.

In the Heart of the Saddle

In the first episode of Fel Haraka Baraka, we spotlight Mohamed Alserkal, an international UAE dressage rider who balances his life between Europe and the UAE. Arriving at 5:30am, Alserkal was already brimming with energy, eager to introduce us to his horse. Instantly, we could feel the deep bond they share each moment between them was a testament to their connection, from the way he walked her to the seamless harmony of their movements while riding. It was as if they were companions in every sense, their relationship built on mutual trust and care.

Unveiling Selma

On the fringes of Emirati life, is a robust 35 year old Selma whose facial furrows, constant perspiration and attire have lead her to lose touch with herself and her own identity as a woman. On one such day, while Selma tends to the farm animals, her husband Yusuf watches football and Jamila, her six year old daughter plays with her barbie- unaware that her innocent remark would push Selma to realize something she has long forgotten- she is a woman! She decides she no longer can continue to stay in a loveless marriage that has been chipping away at her soul and slowly losing herself. She choses to free herself.

In this episode, we accompany the explorer Bu Zayed, Sultan Al-Obaidli, on a journey through the landscapes of Khorfakkan, where his heart beats with a love for nature and a passion for uncovering its secrets. Bu Zayed is not just a nature enthusiast; he’s a first-class explorer with a unique philosophy in hiking. As one of the pioneers who established Hiking programs in the UAE, he has made significant contributions to environmental conservation and fostering eco-friendly generations. Each year, Bu Zayed trains over a thousand people of all ages, spreading environmental awareness and nurturing a love for nature in everyone he meets.
